GETTING HERE
With three motorway exits and two railway stations, getting to Interlaken couldn’t be easier. Simply choose the best route for you.
The Stella is in the west of Interlaken.
The quickest and easiest way to reach the Stella is from Interlaken West railway station and the motorway exit for Interlaken West.
Getting here by car from Berne
Leave the motorway at the Interlaken West exit. Follow the transit sign for around 1.5 kilometres and continue straight ahead at the Lidl turn-off. After around 150 metres, you will see the Hotel Stella on the left-hand side (get in lane to turn off).
Getting here by car from Lucerne
The motorway passes through a tunnel shortly after the Bönigen exit. Then get in lane for the Interlaken Ost exit. Follow the signs and turn right at the first roundabout. From there, carry on straight ahead through several roundabouts until you see the Höhematte main thoroughfare on the right-hand side. Turn right at the junction after the next and you’re in front of the Hotel Stella.
Getting here by train
From Berne:
Get off at Interlaken West. The hotel is a five-minute walk away. Opposite the railway station, take the Niesenstrasse street between Café Runft and the Migros supermarket. Walk to the end of Niesenstrasse and turn right at the building with the red top floor. The Hotel Stella is just 20 metres away on the left-hand side.
From Lucerne:
Get off at Interlaken Ost. Catch the bus or train to Interlaken West or walk along the Höheweg (alongside the Höhematte meadow) to the centre of town. This will take around 20 minutes. At the post office, turn left into Centralstrasse until you reach the junction, then turn right. You will see the Hotel Stella after another 20 metres.
